The Ethernet module includes a four-port switch for a gigabit metallic ethernet with RJ-45 connectors with LEDs. The module uses the SGMII interface, the SGMII signal is terminated on the Moxtet bus. This module is combinable with the miniPCIe module. The ETH modules cannot be put be behind each other in a string. Ports on the ETH module always configured as LAN ports in the user interface Foris. However, using SSH or LuCI, more experienced users can configure devices for different functions.
